Welcome to"The Buck Spur", a fully updated cottage on 1.25 peaceful acres. We are just 10 minutes from Downtown Sandpoint, and less than 30 minutes to the Silverwood. The Buck Spur has a warm, cozy, inviting feel with a wraparound front porch, a gorgeous kitchen with Quartz countertops and Stainless appliances, Starlink internet along with the most comfortable of beds. We have the hot tub for you to relax in, along with a brand new mini split system (A/C and heat) for an ultra comfortable stay!

Good to know

The space is open. The upstairs is only accessed via the spiral staircase. The Bedrooms are both upstairs in a loft style of setting. They are NOT fully private rooms from one another. The house sits back off the road, with plenty of space outdoors and or on the covered patio to spread out, and relax!!

We really enjoyed staying at Cole’s place. It was so comfortable and everything was easy and accessible. We brought out dogs and Cole was very accommodating. Looking at booking our next summer vacation already with this place!

This isan absolutely stunning area, so peaceful and the cabin is perfect! The kitchen had a coffee pot with coffee and mini creamers. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need. There were games, fire place, hot tub, very comfortable beds. Fun oldtime popcorn maker with everything to use it! Absolutely loved everything about it. Hosts were very responsive and helpful when we nessaged We will be back!

Our stay was excellent! The home was very comfortable and met all our needs. It's better than described! All the little extras you don't expect such as popcorn popper with all the fixings, bathroom stocked with makeup remover wipes and q-tips, keurig coffee pods and individual vanilla creamers, laundry soap, and a basket of incidentals to use in case you forgot something. The hot tub was such a bonus. It was clean, hot, and easy to get in and out of. As mentioned, you could hear the trains, but we actually thought it added to our stay as we weren't used to hearing them. The outdoor space was nice. we didn't get to use the fire pit or horseshoe area since it rained most of our stay, but it looked great and maintained. We thought the spiral staircase would be challenging, but it wasn't. This should not be a deciding factor on renting this home. It was very manageable! We've stayed at many airbnb's and Cole's home is one of our favorites. We look forward to staying here again!

We decided to take a last minute trip with our teenage kids, and dog. We gave short notice when booking. They were doing routine maintenance and were forthcoming that the hot tub would not be ready until day two. We were happy with the short distance to Sandpoint and quiet surroundings to stay. You can hear a train, but I love the sound. It isn’t loud or disruptive to the peaceful setting. The house is warm and cozy. It has all the little things you may need during a stay. Feels like home. Would recommend. The hosts are very responsive!

Perfect location, outside of sandpoint but only 10 minutes away. No noise due to traffic with the occasional train, if you’re looking to check out Sandpoint this is the one! The matchwood brewery is a must, the food is beyond good or if you’re looking for something nicer the bank- barroom and eater was some of the best drinks and food I’ve had in a long time.

It’s was a wonderful place to stay. It was spotless and so cozy. Such a peaceful atmosphere and really has that welcome home feel. Great for a few friends to make a memory together like we did or perfect for a single family. The train does run close by the property but it wasn’t problematic at all. It was easily over looked throughout our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a girls weekend and it was perfect! There was lots of room to move around. Loved having enough seating for everyone to be comfortable. The loft with the 4 beds were great all of us had very restful sleep. Our favorite thing using the hot tub then coming inside and making popcorn with the cute old time looking popcorn machine. We will definitely be back next year!

The Buck Spur was a gorgeous get-away. The location was great with lots of privacy but easy to access and get into town. We felt right at home during the holidays. The tree they had set up and the holiday decorations were a beautiful touch. We would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

This place was perfect for me and my wife. We planned a weekend to be able to go out and explore around Sagle and Sandpoint but the homey feel of the Buck Spur changed our minds! It was perfect for a relaxing weekend reading and playing games buy the fire! We will be looking to book here again on our next trip!

The Buck Spur is a cute and comfort place to stay. I was there on business, but I felt right at home. The entire place was clean and cozy. The owners were communicative and kept in touch. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook up a meal. The bed I slept allowed me to sleep well. The outside porch/hot tub area was covered and easily accessible. I did not use the outside as it was wet and snowy during my stay. I would definitely recommend this for a getaway. If I am in the area in the future I will be looking to stay here.
